Diving and English
Of these four countries, the Philippines has the best diving spots at this price point. Moalboal, Tubbataha, Coron. One advantage rarely mentioned: everyone speaks English. Really everyone. It is the second official language and you feel it at every step.
A good start
The Philippines do not make it easy. Comfort is not guaranteed here, accommodation can be below expectations, inter-island transport can be unpredictable. And despite all this, we want to come back.

One of the most beautiful places in the world. No exaggeration. Limestone cliffs, hidden lagoons, turquoise water. El Nido is boat trips through lagoons, Coron is shipwrecks and crater lakes.

You dive or want to start. The best spots in the region at this price. Moalboal, Coron, Tubbataha. The water is warm, visibility great, and costs lower than anywhere else.
You value nature over comfort. The Philippines reward patience with views found nowhere else. Lagoons, waterfalls, empty beaches.
English is important to you. The only country in the region where English is a real second language. At every level.
You do not panic when things go differently. The Philippines require flexibility. In return, they give unexpected things.
