Vietnam

Raw beauty. Unpredictable weather.

Vietnam that is hard to describe and hard to forget

Vietnam is beautiful in a way that is hard to describe. It is not about beaches or resorts. It is about a landscape that changes every few hundred kilometers and can literally stop you in the middle of the road.

Ha Giang

Ha Giang is one of those places that stays with you. You ride a motorbike through mountains that look like they are from a completely different world. Rocks, fog, and villages where time flows differently. You cannot prepare for this on Google, you just have to be there.

Character

A communist country, and you can feel it. Not in a way that bothers, but in a way that gives the place character. Vietnam has its own face and its own pace, which are not always obvious to someone coming from outside.

Ha Giang is one of those places that stays with you. You cannot prepare for this on Google, you just have to be there.

Which regions are worth seeing

Ha Giang

Motorbike through the Dong Van mountains. For those who are into it: unforgettable. The Ha Giang loop is 3-5 days of riding through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Asia. Mountain villages, cliffs, and roads that end in the clouds.

Hanoi & Ha Long Bay

A capital with soul and thousands of rocks rising from the water. Hanoi is the old quarter, bun cha on the street, and Hoan Kiem lake in the morning. Ha Long Bay - thousands of limestone rocks rising from the sea. Together they make the perfect start to a Vietnam trip.

Da Nang & Hoi An

Central Vietnam. Close to everything from here, and there is plenty to see. Hoi An is lanterns, the old town, and tailors. Da Nang is the dragon bridge, beaches, and Marble Mountains. Together they make the most convenient base in central Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City

A different Vietnam. Faster, more business-oriented, the south of the country. Saigon is energy and chaos that has its own rhythm. Cu Chi tunnels, the Mekong Delta within reach. It is the gateway to southern Vietnam.

How much time you need

10 days

The minimum, including the flights there and back. Choose one region and go deep — trying to cover the entire country ends too quickly.

3 weeks

You can combine north with center. Ha Giang requires its own block of at least 5 days.

Month+

Then Vietnam from Ha Giang to the Mekong Delta makes sense as a whole.

Vietnam is for you if...

  • You want views, not beaches. Vietnam is rugged and different from the rest of the region. Mountains, rocks, rice terraces - these are not postcards, this is a real country.
  • You like places with character. There is no pretending here. Vietnam is what it is, and that is its strength.
  • History matters to you. A country where history is alive and present, not locked in a museum.
  • A motorbike through mountains sounds like a plan. Ha Giang is one of the most beautiful motorcycle routes in the world.

Vietnam is not for everyone - but if it is for you, there is nothing better in this region in terms of landscape.

Vietnam is a long country and there is no single good season for all of it. The plan must take the route into account, not just dates.

How we plan Vietnam

Vietnam is a country where a bad plan can ruin a good trip. Not through chaos, but through a combination of season, route, and length of stay.

When we plan Vietnam, the first conversation is always about: where from and where to, how much time you have, and what matters most to you. Ha Giang requires its own time block and cannot be squeezed between Hanoi and Hoi An without feeling rushed.

Route before date

In Vietnam, whether you travel south to north or the other way around matters for the season and logistics.

Ha Giang as a separate block

It is not just one of the stops. It is its own chapter that requires time and good preparation.

Season in three zones

North, center, and south have different calendars. The plan must reconcile them.
